I have turned up the ringtone volume to high but when people ring, their designated ring tone is too quiet to hear and this is a small, quiet house!

If this phone has the features your looking for then buy it. it’s easy to use, does everything the ad says and nothing more.

3 Stars programing nightmare
Unit works well. Inconvenient to figure out where you have to program, hand set or base set. Light on base set that identifies a message is almost impossible to see unless you are on top of the machine.

3 Stars Panasonic 6.0 combo
Product functions well but its missing a few features. I expected it to have- timer/ clock and also the speaker phone volume is low, even when at max.

4 Stars Highly Recommend
Very attractive styling with all the features I was looking for. Finish is a medium silvery metallic grey, unlike product photos that look darker. Corded base phone works during power outgages which are nowadays frequent in many places because of overtaxed electrical grid. Easy menu-type programming, but don’t lose the manual. Handset charged up quickly and you can purchase additionally sets. I only needed one for the living room. You can page between phones. Base phone can be wall mounted. Choice of a couple ringer tones and I like the melodic bell tone sound versus the annoying typical ring tone. Great no-disturb “Z” feature allows you to shut off the ringer late at night til wake-up, but any calls and messages will still be received. The 6.0 sound quality is superb for all calls I’ve experienced local, out of state and international. You can record your own greeting or use the default recording which I prefer – typical brief voicemail message in English. Wish they offered a duplicate in Spanish. One con is the tiny red blinking message light which you can’t see from across the room. The advertised “Call Block” feature will prevent any unwanted or harassment calls from ringing, and disconnect them, after their numbers are programmed into the phone. But this only works if you subscribe to, and pay your phone company for Caller ID every month. I researched similar AT&T and G.E. phone sets, but chose Panasonic. Slightly more expensive, but worthwhile for the 6.0 sound quality, features, and more attractive design.

4 Stars Nice and small
I replaced my older Panasonic 2 line business phone with this one. This one is a lot smaller which saves a lot of space on my desk. So far the phone works nice. Speaker phone is not as loud as my older model. I don’t like having to press multiple buttons just to view the caller ID list. The biggest drawback of this phone is it does NOT have an earphone jack anywhere on it. I was mistaken/mislead when I bought it that it did have one. Only the cordless companion has this jack.

4 Stars Cool Phone
We really enjoy the phone. It is quite a discussion piece and the quality is very good. Two minor complaints: (1) The phone is plastic and “purists” will remember the originals were steel. This is not a big issue though – my kids think the phone is great and show it off to new guests who arrive at our house. (2) The ring tone is all wrong for this type of phone. It should have some ringing tone that sounds like phones from the 1950’s.

Overall, though, we really like it.

This phone is great. I just rec. and used last night, sound is good,and fun to dial. I also wish it was not a plastic body but it does seem sturdy. Fast delivery as usual with Amazon. This phone looks great on the wall, I actually remember pay phones!

Like everyone else wish it were a little heavier, also wish that you had to put money in to make a call LOL. But I really like it and have gotten many compliments on it.

I Just received my RED pay phone and it looks great, Delivery was fast though I had to pay extra for clearing customs, I’m a little disapointed that it’s made of plastic and hope it dosen’t break easy. All in All… Nice look.

5 Stars It is waterproof
The first day I got the phone I intentionally dropped it to the bottom of our pool (4 1/2 feet). If it wasn’t waterproof, I wanted to know immediately!

It worked perfectly before and after being underwater. When swimming, I clip the phone to something on the side of the pool.

I tried to compare this with other waterproof phones and found no others.

5 Stars I really beat this phone up and it takes it, no problem.
I love this phone. I work in dust, dirt and paint all day long with this phone attached to my belt. sometimes I accidently sit on it. It’s been dropped more times than I can remeber. If I’m working under a car it gets put in the dirt next to me. So after all this it’s the best sounding phone I’ve had that didn’t have a wire attached. All the phones I’ve owned in the last ten years never lasted more then a year. this one is a year old and still works like new.

5 Stars Uniden WXI2077 is a very good phone
I have this phone for few weeks now to replace a 5.8Ghz Panasonic phone. I had a lot of trouble with the 5.8Ghz Panasonics phone which is unusual because other Panasonics phones I have from 900MHz to 2.4GHz, not much problem. Any way, this Uniden WXI2077 DECT 6.0 is great. Very easy to use, not much learning curve. Very clear sound both direction. I like the buttons as well. This phone gives you the feel of durable, and reliable. A little heavier than my other phones but the quality is good. This phone saves the last 5 number you dailed. This is great for recalling the recent numbers for redial. For $50, I recommended this phone and it is good buy.

5 Stars My husband loves this phone…
We are very hard on all our electronic gear. The last four phones were broken within a few weeks of buying them. We happened to find this one and bought it because the clerk told us that we would not be able to destroy it easily.

They were right. Over a year later and NO PROBLEMS. It has (among other things) been dropped in a sink full of dishes and smashed by pile of wood falling on top of it. Long story short, this one has out lasted all the other fancy, expensive phones I bought over the years.

Not only is it very sturdy (and almost indestructable), it sounds great! The ringtone is loud enough that we can hear it over the sound of jigsaws and music. It also has a handy page button on the wall mount so we can find it when I lose it. (This happens an awful lot.)

5 Stars Great phone
This is one durable phone! (And it’s been through a lot in this household especially with our 4 and 6 year old. We didn’t test the water resistance yet however. Our purpose for buying the phone was more for the fact that it looked durable, as my children seem to drop phones all the time! This phone has sure stood up to the test so far. (We’ve owned it about a year.) I wish we bought it soon instead of trying out cheaper phones. This one is definitely worth every penny!
