4 Stars Decent phone.
A decent enough phone. Caller ID works fine, phone sound quality is good. It goes through batteries faster than I would like. I just dropped it and broke it, and am buying another.
4 Stars GREAT LANDLINE
This is a great phone, but I ordered it twice in white and received black phones. Okay with me because it matched, but it may not make others happy.

4 Stars It’s what I needed
I needed a basic no answering machine cordless as my landline backup for my cell phone until I can get a femtocell in my ‘country estate’. This was inexpensive, looked classy rather than tacky, and was by a good brand name. It’s no larger than it needs to be. I’m disappointed it doesn’t wall mount, but not surprised as this seems to be a feature that only I still want in a phone. The sound quality is acceptable and the range appears adequate for me. After 20 years of cordless phone technology and a vast number of upgrades (Gigahertz, Dect, whatever) one might think that the sound quality would be outstanding if not perfect at this point, but there is still some background static, alas. Voices are always intelligible however and there isn’t any noticeable distortion. The handset is nice – it fits well in the hand, is a nice size and weight, and the buttons and operation feel quality. The base is also nicely designed, but since it doesn’t have a fixed mount on any surface, it is too light to feel solid when the handset is picked up or returned. I opened it up and packed the available empty space with modeling clay and this made it nearly perfect.
3 Stars The most horrible ringtone you’ll ever hear… but wait, there’s more!
Phone works OK for its main function (answering and placing calls) and it has a decent but unlit keypad, but as another reviewer noted, its base is much too light. However, its selection of ringtones only includes a few shrill emergency-style blasts plus some extremely obnoxious “melodies” that sound as if the ice-cream delivery truck is parked inside your house with its child-attractor song playing over and over and over. If you get a lot of calls, you’ll most likely want to put this phone in your driveway and back your car over it. Before you buy one of these phones, be sure to find one in a store and listen to the ringtones.
5 Stars Motorola Cordless phone

5 Stars Very happy with the L301
I have had this unit for a few months now and have been very pleased with it. In fact, I’m looking for the add-on units to populate other rooms with the same handsets. Call quality has been superb with no interference. Until I read some of the other reviews, I’d never noticed issues with the base weight and ring tones – neither has been an issue for me. Speakerphone works well with ample volume on both ends. All-in-all, I have been very pleased with the L301.
5 Stars Nice, sleek and modern
Just got this phone today. Very simple to use and setup. Didn’t even need to refer to the instructions. Lightweight and comfortable to hold. Large, clear display is easy to read even without my glasses on. Well worth the price.

5 Stars Good phone with excellent features
I purchased this phone to replace an old-fashioned telephone that had essentially no features on it. All of the features on the new Panasonic phone – caller ID, ringer ID, answering system, speaker phone, portability, memory dialing – work fine. It does take a bit of effort to read the manual and to understand and to set up (where necessary) the various features. But, the effort has been rewarded by having a telephone that has essentially all of the features that one could wish for. Having had the phone for a short period of time, I cannot comment on how reliable it will be over several years of use.
5 Stars Nice Phone
Good replacemenr for aging Panasonic phone. The previous phone lasted seven years of daily use!
3 Stars being charged all the time the handset is on the base
PROS: My ENT doctor recommended Panasonic, as having best clarity, also the listener at the other end does not complain about “echo” any longer. That’s true but,
CONS: the volume cannot be raised as much as I would like it.
The manual is difficult to understand and tech support was not much help. I had to figure out how to use this phone mostly by myself.
I am disappointed having to do most operations from the handset , especially scrolling through addresses.
No back lighting on base, nor any indication of number of messages waiting.
4 Stars Very easy to use and good quality phone
I replaced a 5 year old Panasonic phone with this one. I’m very happy with it, especially the call blocking. The menu is very intuitive. The only problem I have is that it doesn’t dial a 1 when the caller ID doesn’t include it. I am required to dial a 1 when calling in my area code, but the caller ID, which comes from the phone company, doesn’t put a “1″ in front of the number. That’s not Panasonic’s fault. This occurs only when I go through the list of missed calls and dial the number back.
5 Stars Great little phone to replace my old Panasonic
Bouhgt it to replace my 2.4 GHz phone. Needed base keypad and headset jack – that’s the only model that has both. I did not have any problem with the headset volume. It is somewhat tedious to erase calls from the the CID list. Also, answering system does not show the number of old undeleted messages, so the memory could be nearly full or full if you do not delete them in time.
