4 Stars Decent phone.
A decent enough phone. Caller ID works fine, phone sound quality is good. It goes through batteries faster than I would like. I just dropped it and broke it, and am buying another.
4 Stars GREAT LANDLINE
This is a great phone, but I ordered it twice in white and received black phones. Okay with me because it matched, but it may not make others happy.
ATandT Corded Trimline Phone with 13 Number Memory 210

A popular and affordable telephone, the 210 from AT&T is designed for those who don’t want hassles or frills, just a basic phone that’s reliable and easy to use. Simple corded operation means you never have worry about misplacing a cordless handset, and the phone’s sturdy construction means it’s designed to last.
You can place the base on a convenient surface or easily mount it on the wall, saving on counter space. A 12-number memory dial feature lets you store your most frequently called numbers (up to 21 digits)–nine speed dials plus three emergency one-touch dials that are easy to program. A directory card is provided to help you keep track of all your memory dial settings. A redial feature lets you quickly call the last outgoing number (up to 32 digits).
Three ringer settings (off, low, and high) and three handset volume levels permit customization. Switchable tone and pulse dialing methods are also provided. The illuminated keypad helps you operate the phone even in darkly lit areas, while a prog/mute button on the handset lets you hear the other party while muting your side of the conversation. An excellent value, the 210 also comes backed with a one-year limited warranty.
What’s in the Box

1 Star wall phone won’t stay on the wall
I bought this phone to use as a wall phone. Like many people who bought this phone said the receiver falls off. It is unusable. Who knows what the sound is like I couldn’t get it to stay on the wall. The phone is very light weight (cheap), not at all like the old AT&t phone of the past. I would not recommend this phone except throw it in the trash.
4 Stars Got the phone for my wife.
I bought the phone for my wife, because we were having trouble with the old phone we had. We have several other phones including a cordless phone, but my wife likes the plain old phone, without all the fancy stuff on it. She likes this new phone fine, but they are getting hard to find anymore. We don’t use the memory or any of the other features except to talk on it. Yes, we are old people, but give me credit, at least I bought it on line.
5 Stars Emergency Phone
I bought this Slimline to have a corded, powered emergency phone in case of a power outage, because i am one of the last people in the USA without a cell phone. All my other everyday phones are cordless and will fail if the power goes out, so i can plug this in as needed and have communication.
Frankly i don’t know what other reason you’d have to pick this model up !
1 Star not so great for great-grandma
I bought 2 of these phones for my mom. She needed a light-up keypad since she has cataracts. The light inside the phone only illuminates a couple of numbers, and then not very brightly. She also did not like the ringtone. She prefers a ringtone of older standard phones, which is why I chose the Trimline. It’s a classic style that I expected to meet her expectaions. It did not, and my 30 days from ordering it were up, so I could not return them, so I passed the phones on to my daughter for her new house.
4 Stars Would purchase again
For the priceit’s a good little phone, sometimes get static on the line, but don’t know if it’s the phone or carrier
