I even called uniden and they said just reboot everything and I said ok and I did that well guess what it didn’t fix the problem. I went to the global settings feature to make sure the call waiting was turned on it was. When i hit the flash button it does not flip over. I need help and thought maybe someone out their can help me. I do not know if you will need the model number but it is TRU9480 series.
yes I do have call waiting…I have never had this problem until I bought these phones.

4 Stars Decent phone.
A decent enough phone. Caller ID works fine, phone sound quality is good. It goes through batteries faster than I would like. I just dropped it and broke it, and am buying another.

4 Stars GREAT LANDLINE
This is a great phone, but I ordered it twice in white and received black phones. Okay with me because it matched, but it may not make others happy.

Uniden TCX905 Accessory Handset and Charger with Call Waiting and Caller ID

41H3DXDKBCL. SL75 Uniden TCX905 Accessory Handset and Charger with Call Waiting and Caller ID

An accessory handset for Uniden’s TRU9 series, TRU8 series, CLX series, Elite series, and the UIP18 series phone systems, the TCX905 offers the same excellent range of functions you appreciate in the base. Once the handset is recognized by the system, you can review features like Call Waiting Caller ID, which includes a 100-station memory (with subscription to local service) that allows names and numbers to be transferred between handsets or moved into the permanent 10-station speed dial. DirectLink two-way radio communication is built into each handset, allowing them to function as an in-home intercom system or baby monitor.

You can transfer incoming calls between each handset and speakerphone on the base, and make use of the convenient hands-free design by using the included belt clip and built-in headset jack (headsets available separately). Easily adjust handset and ringer volume levels to your comfort, and set the handset LCD menu to one of three menu languages (English, French, or Spanish). A page button lets you quickly locate the handset if it’s strayed under the couch cushions. Redial any of the last three called numbers at the touch of a button, activate three-way calls or just enjoy the consistent clarity of the 5.8 GHz digital signal transmission.

This handset requires the use of a compatible Uniden T9, ELT or VIP series phone. Most systems in the series are expandable up to a total of four handsets. Uniden provides a one-year warranty covering parts and service.

Compatible with the following Uniden 5.8 GHz Digital Expandable Systems: the TRU9 series (TRU9460,TRU9465, TRU9466, TRU9480, TRU9485, TRU9488, TRU9496), the TRU8 series (TRU8860, TRU8865, TRU8866,TRU8880, TRU8885, TRU8888), the CLX series (CLX465,CLX485), the Elite series (ELT560, ELBT585, ELBT595), and the UIP18 series (UIP1868P and UIP1869V).

What’s in the Box:
Handset, charger, AC adapter, belt clip, battery, user’s guide, warranty card

5 Stars Uniden TCX905 handset works great with old system.
This handset was installed with a five year old Uniden system. Installation was very easy following the instructions that came with the handset. Kudos to Uniden for keeping their handsets compatible with older generation systems. The five year old system has been great and has always worked well.

4 Stars Value for the price
The 2-line uniden phone handset is a good starter phone for the home and or small office. The features I was looking for are on this phone. The issue I have is that the labels are too small it’s hard to find the correct keys to use especially that this phone has softkeys. By softkeys I mean the key changes depending on what function you’re accessing on the phone. One other issue I have with this phone is that there’s interference that I hear from my router. There’s a clicking sound that I hear whenever the wireless router sends data. This does not happen too often but when it does the sound is noticeable. The farther you are from the base there is also a change of not being able to hear the other party.

5 Stars good product
The handset is easy to install, works fine and the seller has a good service

Uniden TCX905 Accessory Handset and Charger with Call Waiting and Caller ID

bought 3 phones and two are ok with 2 lines as expected. third phone is only one line—-i cannot use it.

4 Stars Uniden review
We like the unit. It would be better if the phonebook that we programmed in the base would appear on the remotes. The remotes have to be programmed separately, which is somewhat inconvenient. Otherwise it is a good product.

User Ratings and Reviews

1 Star Defective handset
I purchased a LS6215-2 along with an addition handset (LS6205). One of the handsets came assembled incorrectly (the clips that hold the front and back covers were misaligned) causing the side of the phone to bow out slightly. On one of the other phones the display is crooked inside the case.

Tried calling V-tech but they were completely unconcerned and didn’t care to address my concerns about the quality of their product. So rather than just returning and getting replacement items, I’ll return them and buy a different manufacturer’s phone.

5 Stars additional handset
We purchased a Vtech base with three handsets (one for base and 2 “extensions”). We loved the new system, but we decided we wanted to have more “extensions” available. Therefore, we bought this. It’s specifically for the system we bought and we are very, very happy with the system as well as this additional extension. I will note that I had been told I’d pay about $70 for each additional handset – Needless to say I was delighted to find this for approximately $25 and you’d never know that it was bought separately from the originals.

5 Stars Good buy
Purchased this accessory handset because I was so impressed with Vtech phone set. Very light and does all I was looking for.

5 Stars VTEK dect6 phone
Great looks. Simple installation. Sounds OK. Vtek has added most features the predecessor lacked. But they

dropped one feature I liked–naming the remote handsets. It’s difficult to transfer a call or use the intercom

unless you know where all the remotes are by their number designation.

3 Stars Vtech LS6205
I have the base unit that comes with 2 extra handsets. I bought an additinal 2. The look is fantastic, dect 6.0 incredible, the expansion option great. I think the features could be better. The sound level is soso and the ringtones are crappy. There is only one mailbox. With all the handsets that can be added you would think they would know more than one family member would be using the mailbox. The major flaw is with the phone directory all the phones record the same numbers. If you put a number in one phone it is in all the phones so if you erase a number……… The same goes for the call log. Again with alll the handsets you would think a little more individuality would come with this system. As a result my teenager is saving up to replace this system.
